Annual E-Waste and Shred Fest
Councilwoman Rae Gabelich Invites you to the Annual Eighth District E-Waste Drive and Shred Fest on Saturday, May 21 from 9:00AM-12:00PM. The event will be held in the parking lot at the LBPD North Division Station at the corner of Atlantic and Del Amo.
e-Waste
Your donation is tax deductible! Bring your old, broken or unused "e-Waste" and it will be recycled by Goodwill. Proceeds go directly to Goodwill’s skill development & employment programs for individuals of barriers to employment. All cell phones will be donated to Su Casa—Ending Domestic Violence to help battered woman successfully transition out of abusive homes.
Use this opportunity to properly dispose of old computer monitors, TV’s Plasma Screens, DVD players, electronics and cell phones. Please NO fluorescent tubes, batteries, or household hazardous waste.
Shred Fest
Your first five boxes will be shredded for FREE and it is only $5.00 per box after that. With the growing concerns about identity theft, this is a good way to safely dispose of your old records and paperwork.
A local company, Future Shredding, Inc. will destroy the documents on-site and then recycle the paper shreds.
Event made possible with the support of Future Shredding, Goodwill & Su Casa.
